ACADEMIC SEMESTER FALL 2021 COVID-19 Coronavirus Contingencies

ACADEMIC SEMESTER FALL 2021 COVID-19 Coronavirus Contingencies

11th June 2021

The Office of Academic Affairs wishes to advise the University community that the Academic Senate has given approval for the Fall 2021 semester to continue in the same modality as Spring 2021.   As such, UB courses will continue mostly virtually until further notice.  However, classes with less than 15 students will have the option of face-to-face instruction.  In addition, approval has been granted for larger classes to take on a hybrid format where less than 15 students are in person and the remaining students are virtual using the interactive classroom.

The Office of Academic Affairs will provide further information about the small classes that will be selected for face-to-face instruction, and logistics of the hybrid classes, once discussions with the respective faculty and schools are completed and final decisions made.  Please remember that UB email, the Clarion and the UB website are the official means of communication between the University of The Bahamas, and its students.  Be sure to check them regularly for updates.
